Dance PartyConnect Microsoft Teams
Bring team announcements and channel updates to your dashboards. Dance Party reads standard channels in teams where you install the app. It never sends messages.
1. Install Dance Party in your team
Download the app package below. In Teams, open Apps, then Manage your apps and Upload an app. Choose Upload a custom app and select the downloaded ZIP. Choose Add to a team, select your team and confirm Add.
Download Teams appIf Upload a custom app is unavailable, ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to upload this package to your organization’s app catalog. Your organization’s policy controls installation.
2. Connect your Microsoft account
Open Dance Party in your browser, go to Integrations and connect Microsoft Teams. Use your work or school account that belongs to the team. Personal Microsoft accounts are not supported.

Select Microsoft Teams in DJ and ask to see your channels. Choose a standard channel and describe the updates you want to display. Private channels, shared channels, chats and attachments are not included.
Installing the Teams app grants read access only within that team. Dance Party also checks your team membership on every read. Remove the app in Teams to revoke its team access, or disconnect it in Dance Party.
